A typical six-month retainer could include:

Salt & Sage is a joint venture between Manfreda’s business, ClaraComms Limited, and Felicity’s business, Haythorn Copy Limited. You’ll be invoiced by one of us (please see our T&Cs of business).
Deposit and invoicing — we require full payment upfront for projects up to £400. For projects valued at £401 and above, there’s a 25% project deposit. We won’t start work until this is received. The remainder (75%) is invoiced upon completion. For retainer contracts and projects lasting over four weeks, we invoice monthly in advance.
1 FIRST DATE
We chat, figure out what you need, agree on the scope, sign the papers and boom – deposit paid. We’re in business.
2 DEEP DIVE
We get into the nitty-gritty: messaging questionnaire, briefing call, copy audits, research – basically, we get to know your brand inside out.
3 PLAN
We outline, set deadlines and plot the strategy.
4 WORD MAGIC
Now the fun begins. We craft words that pop, sizzle and make your audience stop scrolling.
5 EDIT AND LAUNCH
Two rounds of edits, final copy goes live, invoice paid – and voilà, it’s time to celebrate!
